The Josco Abrasive Nylon Wheel Brush is ideal for use on plastics and wood in removing rust and oxide build-up, plus light burrs from steel, stainless steel and aluminium. They are able to give a softer brushing effect, and are idyllic for the preparation of painted surfaces prior to repainting. Nylon brushes are also great for achieving a rust effect on soft timbers.

An advantage of using a nylon brush is that they do not scratch, and therefore are appropriate for cleaning and polishing of any kind of wood (fine or rustic), metallic surfaces such as automobile bodies, tile, stone & concrete, plastic materials, along with stainless steel and aluminium.

Josco’s range of abrasive nylon brushes are made from 80 grit nylon filaments that have been impregnated with aluminium oxide abrasive particles. These nylon filaments act like flexible files; deburring, cleaning and edge blending as they wipe your surface. As the nylon continues to wear, new abrasive grits are constantly being exposed. They have a high range of flexibility without danger of breakage, and provide long working life with an increased measure of safety. Please note they are suitable for dry applications only and are intended for use in power drills.

Usage Note: Before using your abrasive nylon wheel brush, run it against a rough surface for about 10 seconds. This will expose the grit ready for your job.
